METHOD DETERMINING MORTAR SEPARATION OF POLYMER CONCRETE MIXTURE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: technology of concrete preparation, namely, determination of mortar separation of polymer concrete mixtures under dynamic actions. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for comparison of various versions of composition, of technological production processes, for test of quality and correction of composition of polymer concrete. Method determining mortar separation of polymer concrete mixture consists in mechanical division of specimen of polymer concrete mixture into upper and lower parts, in their weighing. Mortar separation of polymer concrete mixture is found by mortar separation index which is computed with due account of content of coarse aggregate in upper and lower parts. Specimen is divided mechanically after its complete solidification, geometrical dimensions of both parts are measured and their average density as well as average density of pilot specimen of polymer solution are calculated. Then contents of coarse aggregate by volume in each part of specimen are computed by formulas where Vu.pca

Then mortar separation index is computed by formula where ΔVca is absolute value of difference between content of coarse aggregate in upper and lower parts of specimen; ΣVca is total content of coarse aggregate in upper and lower parts of specimen. EFFECT: determination of mortar separation of polymer concrete mixture.
