FIELD: individual hygienic articles. SUBSTANCE: toothbrush has handle and head with bristles. Current-conductive member is fixed to handle and connected to positive pole of current source. Negative source is connected to current-conductive member arranged in the vicinity of bristles. Toothbrush is further equipped with light-sensitive matrix, photodiode, and switch. Matrix and photodiode are connected to current-conductive members and are connected in parallel in electric circuit and may be connected to circuit through switch. Toothbrush is used for prophylaxis and treatment of oral cavity diseases due to physiotherapeutic effect provided by current of predetermined value depending on state of patient's oral cavity.
