FIELD: individual sanitary and hygienic articles. SUBSTANCE: toothbrush has handle, head part with bristles, DC source and current-conductive members. First current-conductive member is electrically connected to current source positive pole and is located on handle. Second current-conductive member is connected to current source negative pole and is positioned in zone adjacent to bristles. Toothbrush is further equipped with current limiter, relay and light-emitting diode indicator, which are connected in series with current source negative pole. Current- conductive member is made in the form of metal plate. Toothbrush of such construction allows daily deposit to be removed and difficult-for-access zones of mouth cavity to be effectively cleaned. It also provides for reduction of teeth sensitivity, gum strengthening and paradontosis prophylaxis. EFFECT: simplified construction, wider operational capabilities and convenient use. 3 cl, 4 dwg
