FIELD: equipment for making and repairing rods of deep-well pumps, for powered straightening and strengthening new and already used pump rods in oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes frame and mounted on it grips for rods; power hydraulic cylinder joined with movable grip; control unit and device for testing straightening degree of rods. Grips are provided with detachable catches in the form of clutch with annular protrusion, said catches are arranged in central ducts of grip having at one end grooves for end of rod. At side of hydraulic cylinder frame has guiding member for movable grip. Said member prevents turning over of movable grip. Stationary grip is mounted with possibility of rotation and it is joined with outlet shaft of worm reduction gear through freewheel clutch. Input shaft of worm reduction gear is joined with hydraulic motor. EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced efficiency and quality of straightened rods. 8 dwg
