FIELD: shipbuilding; ships provided with devices for reduction of wave and vortex resistance. SUBSTANCE: proposed hull is provided with device for reduction of wave and vortex resistance which is made in form of at least one plane secured along ship's hull at level of waterline. At the bow, planes are bent upward. Behind the stern, planes are joined forming one plane. Width of plane may be equal to 0.05-0.3 of ship's draft. Planes shall be inclined at angle of 15-45 deg. to level. Planes may project beyond stern by 1-5 m. It is good practice to make edges of said planes from flexible material, for example rubber. Width of flexible edges shall be between 0.2 and 0.5 m. Planes may be articulated to hull for changing the angle of their inclination in the course of ship's motion. It is good practice to provide planes with device for adjustment of height according to freeboard of ship. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 9 cl, 9 dwg
