FIELD: soap production. SUBSTANCE: method involves dispersing carbonic acids and/or derivatives thereof with alkali agent; introducing into alkali agent polymeric gelatinizer in an amount of from 0.01 to 12 wt% and salts of transition metals in its highest valent state; forming soap mass; gelatinizing and providing saponification to final stage, with gelatinizing being conducted after forming; introducing gelatinization stimulating agent into soap mass before forming process in an amount of 0.01-33 wt% of gelatinizer; providing forming and additionally introducing alcohols in an amount of 5-30 wt% into mixture. Method allows soap bars of complicated configuration to be produced. EFFECT: reduced production cycle, increased strength of soap bars, and simplified forming process. 4 cl, 16 ex
