FIELD: tree taxation. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing marks on tree section of aliquant length depending on arrangement of bases of knots and other irregularities on tree trunk; marking tree trunk sections of aliquant length at least twice - initially at minimal diameter sites between bases of knots and other irregularities on trunk surface of model tree with following making marks on top parts of said irregularities and measuring respective distances from root neck; determining multiple lengths of sections by even portions of tree trunk having low extent of crookedness; determining aliquant lengths of sections by uneven portions of tree trunk having substantial extent of crookedness including base of tree trunk; sawing out circles of sections at minimal diameter portions and at transitional sites of crookedness of trunk generatrix surface of model tree. Method is used in forestry and nature management for ecology monitoring and protection of environment and may be also used for analysis of trunk of scattered trees.
