FIELD: tests of materials and structures for impact loads. SUBSTANCE: set for impact test includes striker installed in acceleration tube, compressed gas chamber separated from tube, attachment unit for tested specimen located on end of acceleration tube which is provided with holes arranged near zone of attachment unit of tested specimen. Set is also fitted with speed transmitters embracing acceleration tube in area of arrangement of holes. Holes come in the form of longitudinal slits located diametrically. Groove which bottom is positioned in area of faces of slits is made in butt of acceleration tube in point of location of attachment unit of tested specimen. Valve is positioned between acceleration tube and compressed gas chamber. EFFECT: increased accuracy and informativity of results of impact tests. 3 dwg
