FIELD: chemical industry; manufacture of laminated high-temperature superconductors and abrasive materials. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes mixing amorphous boron powder in the amount of 0.3722 g and metallic magnesium chips in the amount of 0.6278 g. Mixture thus obtained is molded to form tablets. Annealing is performed in atmosphere of helium or argon cleaned above titanium sponge heated to temperature of 1000-1050 C. At first stage, annealing is performed at 800-810 C for 1-1.5 hours and at second stage, annealing is performed at 875-885 C for 1/1.5 hours. Superconductor thus obtained is composition MgB2. Transient temperature to superconducting state is Tc = 39.5 K width of transition is ΔTc = 2.5 K. Yield of product is 90%. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 2 ex
