FIELD: production of compounds of copper, barium and rare-earth elements. SUBSTANCE: method may be used in manufacture of members of electronic computer facilities, SQUID-magnetometers, and also working members of instruments of gas-analyzing equipment for control of oxygen content in gas mixtures. The method includes high-temperature calculation of initial powder and subsequent oxidation; grinding of material to produce powder with particles sizing 0.5-50 mcm and additional keeping in suspended state at room temperature for 0.5-100 h in atmosphere of at least one gas selected from group including inert gas, nitrogen and oxygen with humidity of 50-250 Pa. Suspended state of material is maintained by supply of gas in which material is suspended by its flow from lower part of working chamber or by mechanical vibration acting from side of chamber bottom in which material is kept. Produced material ensures coefficient of oxygen diffusion in it at room temperature of 101-102 sq.cm/s that allows its use as working material in instruments for control of oxygen content at room temperatures. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl
