FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the improved method of synthesis of carboxylic acid esters of the general formula (I) where if X is then ; -CH=CH- and ; if X is H then where y is -OH; ; Z is ; m = 0, 1, 2 by esterification of corresponding acids or anhydrides with alcohols in the mole ratio acid : alcohol = 1 : (0.35-2.2) in the presence of hydrocarbons as solvent and aromatic sulfonic acid or acid sulfate as catalyst. Process is carried out at boiling point of reaction mixture with distillation off of water formed, the following washing out the reaction mixture and its neutralization with 5-20 wt. -% excess of alkali solution taken of the measured alkali amount for neutralization of catalyst. The reaction mixture is washed out at temperature 35-50 C with 3-15 wt.-% aqueous solution of alkaline or earth-alkaline metal chlorides or sulfates followed by its neutralization with alkali agent dissolved in solution of alkaline or earth- alkaline metal chlorides or sulfates. Invention provides the solution of problem of intensification of method of synthesis of carboxylic acid esters based on time reduction required for the complete separation of reaction mass at rinsing step and with retention of quality and yield of the end product.
