FIELD: manufacture of engines; fuel injectors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed injector for injection of fuel into internal combustion engine cylinder has housing, spring, tappet, spacer, injector atomizer with shut-off needle and fuel-feed passage for feed of fuel to atomizer. Housing is also provided with additional fuel passage connected with fuel-feed passage. Arranged in center part of injector housing is plate-type valve with spring connecting the additional fuel passage with cavity where needle spring is located.
EFFECT: increased power of engine; enhanced economical efficiency; reduced toxicity of exhaust gases.
