SUBSTANCE: proposed self-focusing wide-screen system of television tube is characterized in that horizontal deflecting winding forms horizontal- deflection barrel fields along effective length of field. This field differs from that required for horizontal deflection in self-focusing narrow- screen yoke. Modification is made considering difference in convergence angles in center of screen.
