SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions for preparing prolonged-release tablets, in part, tablets for sublingual usage and to methods for preparing such compositions. Pharmaceutical composition comprises 98.1-99.8 wt.% of microcapsules of medicinal agent, 0.1-10 wt.% of lubricating substance and 0.1-0.9 wt.% of water being each microcapsule contains 97.6-99.9 wt.% of medicinal substance and 0.1-2.4 wt. % of film- -forming substance. Also, raising agent in the amount 0.1-10 wt. % of mass of prepared mixture is added to composition. Small-dispersed fraction of medicinal agent is used as a raising agent. Method for preparing the pharmaceutical composition involves preparing microcapsules by application of film-forming substance envelope on non-agglomerated particles of medicinal agent, addition of lubricating substance and raising agent. In preparing microcapsules and/or their intermediate storage moisture content in envelope is brought about to concentration 0.5 wt.%, not above, and before addition of lubricating agent and raising agent microcapsules are wetted to water content in envelope 0.1-0.9 wt.%. Raising agent is added after addition of lubricating agent to mixture. The advantage of invention involves the development of pharmaceutical composition and method for preparing such composition ensuring to make prolonged-release tablets with decomposition time below 30 min.
