FIELD: physicochemical processes. SUBSTANCE: surface-active amine containing amine- naphthenic acid salt prepared by emulsion fractionation involving indicated surface-active amine are isolated from emulsions in a process comprising following stages: (i) bringing emulsion layer or phase containing said surface- active amine salt into contact with a mineral acid or with carbon dioxide in amounts and under conditions appropriate to form salt of amine with this acid or amine-bicarbonate salt; (ii) separating lower aqueous layer from upper layer; (iii) adding, to aqueous layer, mineral base if in the stage "i" mineral acid was utilized or heating to required temperature during required period if in the stage "i" carbon dioxide was utilized to adjust pH of aqueous layer to values higher than or equal to 8; (iv) purging aqueous layer with gas to form foam containing indicated surface-active amine; and (v) separating this surface-active amine-containing foam. Method can be applied in emulsion fractionation of petroleum stock to remove organic acids. EFFECT: enhanced process efficiency. 6 cl, 1 dwg, 3 ex
