FIELD: refractory materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacturing refractory tungsten carbide steel-based products primarily for use in metallurgy as steelcasting store. Method involves preparation of binding suspension, stabilization thereof by slowly stirring it for 6-7 h in a sealed cooler until it is completely cold, the volume occupied by suspension not exceeding 50% of the net cooler volume. Mold paste is then prepared by adding binding suspension to filler until their optimum ratio is reached followed by millstone mixing. Products are obtained by vibration compaction of paste employing statistic pressure 0.05 to 0.20 kg/sq.cm for 20-35 s in matrix form with walls subjected to cone adjustment up to 0.013. EFFECT: enabled preparation of throughout the full volume homogenized structure with elevated density and improved physicochemical and working characteristics of products.
