FIELD: restoration of monuments, sculptures, decorative guards and other articles of copper alloys subjected to atmospheric influence. SUBSTANCE: method is realized upon plasma deposition of material of copper or copper alloy at selecting such parameters as heat content, thermic jet speed and oxygen content in thermic jet in order to control quantity of formed copper oxides for providing predetermined color of applied coating. Temperature of article surface in deposition spot is kept no more than 200 C. It is possible to apply preliminary layer of coating in order to provide necessary adhesion strength. Method allows to apply protective coating of brown, olive, grayish brown, gray or black color. EFFECT: enhanced quality of anticorrosion coating with improved resistance against weather conditions. 7 cl
