METHOD OF SINKING LINEAR MEMBER INTO GROUND Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: construction industry. SUBSTANCE: method can be employed to sink linear member, predominantly piles, pipes of various assignment and other shells, for instance, tubular enclosures. Method of sinking linear member into ground, predominantly, pile includes working of member deeper with simultaneous wash-out of ground of natural composition from under low butt of member as it submerges and with removal of diluted ground. Novelty of method lies in supply of washing out fluid into ground of natural composition in volume of ground subject to wash-out or exceeding this volume by factor of ten, not more. Ground is washed out over entire area of lower butt of submerged member with provision of equality of volume of removed ground of natural composition and member sunk into it. EFFECT: raised reliability of erection of structure in ground with simultaneous exclusion of deformation in buildings located nearby, reduced labor input and usage of materials and shortened period of sinking. 3 cl
