FIELD: construction industry, repair and reconstruction of foundations of buildings and structures. SUBSTANCE: process includes cutting of foundation into sections by means of vertical joints and subsequent compression of ground under sections of foundation to diminish settlement of building or structure. Characteristic feature of process lies in that ground compression is carried out by way of formation of space between at least one surface of one section of foundation as minimum and base ground, in placement of elastic vessel communicating with source of working medium in this space, in filling up of remaining volume of space with hardening material, predominantly with concrete with its reinforcement and in pumping of working medium after hardening material acquires more than 70% of required strength under pressure exceeding foundation pressure on its base ground before its repair by 20% as minimum.
