FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves doing diaphragmatic abdominal respiration under outlet exhalation resistance being within the limits of 5-40 mm of water column. Exhalation is carried out in discrete portions of 2-8 s duration and 0.5-1 s long pauses. Exhalation duration is to be increased with growing organism training degree. The training is carried out in three stages. The first stage lasts for at least 30 days until stable respiration satisfying the mentioned parameters is achieved during 40 min with breathing cycle duration being at least 25 s long. Air suction is carried out at the second stage between the exhaled portions. Exhalation duration is to be increased every day and its volume is brought to a value exceeding the inspiration volume. Air suction is first gradually reduced at the third stage and then it completely substitutes inhalation phase. EFFECT: facilitated training in mastering endogenous breathing techniques; enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 2 tbl
