FIELD: biotechnology, microbiology, purines.

SUBSTANCE: invention proposes a method for preparing purine nucleosides, such as inosine, xanthosine and guanosine using a microorganism belonging to Bacillus genus and carrying mutation that confers resistance to high osmotic pressure. In culturing in nutrient medium such microorganism produces and accumulates significantly more amount of purine nucleosides.

EFFECT: increased yield of purine nucleosides.
