FIELD: electromechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves polarization of nonconducting material by friction to set up electric charges, separation of the latter in nonconducting material space, and take-off of electric charges separated in this way to convey them to user. Liquid or gaseous medium is used as nonconducting material, its polarization being effected by friction between its molecules; to this end one or more flasks filled with mentioned nonconducting liquid or gaseous medium are rotated.
