FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: liquid measured medium is placed inside a pipeline; some part of flow of liquid measured medium passing between two electrodes by means of a voltage pulse supplied to two electrodes is polarised with electric field; as a result, a mark is created in flow of liquid measured medium, and flow rate of liquid measured medium is measured due to the time of movement of the mark in the control section of the path. According to the proposed measuring method of liquid or gaseous measured medium, dipole orientation polarisation of particles of solid polar dielectric, which are contained in liquid or gaseous measured medium in suspended state, is performed, and final moment of the movement time of the mark in the control section of the path between two electrodes and two armatures of condenser connected to an oscillating circuit is determined due to difference of durations of the first and the second, positive and negative half-periods of period of resonant oscillations of an electromagnetic field of the oscillating circuit.

EFFECT: enlarging the number of technical devices for measuring of flow rate of liquid or gaseous measured medium.
