FIELD: chewing gum containing trehalose and method of its preparation. SUBSTANCE: according to the first version, chewing gum contains approximately from 5 to 90% of base, approximately from 0.1 to 10% of flavoring, and approximately from 15 to 95% of trehalose. Trehasole is used as only sweetener and filler of said chewing gum or its part. According to other versions, for preparation of sweeten ingredients and syrups for chewing gum, trehalose is evaporated with other sweeteners. Trehalose may be used in content of liquid filler in said chewing gum. Besides, presence of trehalose in content of chewing gum influences well on other its ingredients, aspartam, for instance. Introduction of effective quantity of trehalose makes aspartam stable to disintegration into derivatives without sweeten action. EFFECT: improved cariesgenesity. 7 cl, 13 tbl, 129 ex
