FIELD: rubber industry. SUBSTANCE: treatment of waste waters containing non- coagulated latex and polydisperse polymer particles is accomplished by adding Cao-Mgo-containing coagulant, coagulation, and removal coagulated particles, said coagulant being saturated solution of Cao-Mgo originated from building materials production as waste or ill-conditioned materials. Polymer-to- coagulant ratio (calculated for solids) is 1:(0.2-0.4). Waste is used until full consumption of Cao-Mgo is attained. When preparing saturated coagulant solution, latex-freed waste water is used in amounts depending on coagulant consumption. Proposed process allows coagulant consumption to be substantially decreased as well as it allows reducing secondary contamination of waste water with various contaminants and inert impurities and obtaining coagulated polymer suitable as elastic additives in manufacture of mechanical rubber ware, ebonites, roofing materials, and pavements.
