FIELD: camouflage, in particular - methods for camouflage painting and camouflage articles having a deforming painting, may be used in industrial production of camouflage widths, mantles, articles of clothing, as well as at camouflage of equipment and structures. SUBSTANCE: a set of spots representing a half-tone raster is applied on the surface of the object to be camouflaged, camouflage article, camouflage material. The raster frequency is so selected that its elements would be perceived at observation from short distances as separate spots, and at observation from long distances would be grouped in big blocks. The raster has a linear structure with correlation of the line length and width from 3:1 to 10:1, and the angle between the axis of the lines and the vertical is within 30 to 60 deg.
