FIELD: cartridge cases for sporting guns. SUBSTANCE: cartridge case has a tubular body, base wad having an annular recess engageable with its surface with the powder charge, and a head made in the form of a branch pipe of variable section, consisting of coaxial cylindrical sections of different diameter connected by a section with an expanding profile and enveloping the lower part of the tubular body with the base wad positioned in it, the smaller inside diameter of the head equals the outside diameter of the tubular body, and the base wad is made with a bead with a profile conjugate to the expanding profile of the head, and the larger inside diameter of the head equals the diameter of the bead of the base wad. The novelty in the cartridge case is the fact that the tubular body on the inner lateral surface in the point of conjugation with the lateral surface of the base wad has an annular cylinder-shaped boss, and an annular groove is made on the outside lateral surface of the base wad for placement of the annular boss of the tubular body, the edge of the tubular body on the side of the base wad is tapered and has a chamfer directed to the outside lateral surface, stiffening ribs a radially made in the annular recess of the bottom wad. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of joint of the parts, minimized process of assembly of the cartridge case, enhanced precision of manufacture of the tubular body and base wad on rotor-conveyer lines. 2 dwg
