FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: humic sorbent comprises hydrated huminic acids of brown coal and chemically bound with its mineral components. Humic sorbent is prepared by hydration of natural earth brown coal with deionized water in the process of fine grinding up to particles size 0.1 mm, not above. Method for preparing humic sorbent involves realization of the above described procedures. Method of detoxification of earth and recultivation of soil in agriculture is based on addition of humic sorbent to earth and soil in effective amount. The use of invention allows to inhibit absorption of heavy metal ions and soil-polluting substances by plants, provide water retention by soil. Invention can be sued for preparing agents used in detoxification of earth and recultivation of soil in agriculture and in the development methods of their application.
