FIELD: metallurgy; cooling plates for shaft furnaces. SUBSTANCE: cooling plate for shaft furnace is made from copper or low copper alloy; cooling plate is provided with passages for cooling fluid; plate has rectilinear inner side which is made from forged or rolled tube block. Side flanges of plate are made in form of straight side elongation of rectilinear inner side. Side of cooling plate opposite to inner side forms convex outer side in which cooling water supply and discharge branch pipes are inserted. After mounting, convex outer side of plate adjoins directly convex inner side of furnace body, thus refractory lining between cooling plates and furnace body may be absent.
