FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: cooling battery comprises frame with inner passage for supplying coolant provided with the guiding member for supplying the coolant to the edges and returning it in the contrary direction. The passage is connected with branch pipes for supplying and discharging coolant that is cooled with the battery and has enlarged inner cross-section in comparison to that of the inner passage. The edge section provided with the cooling section and guiding member may be made of an individual member secured to the frame.
EFFECT: improved cooling.
