FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed flow meter has one straight tube and balance beam which is parallel to it, distance plates connecting the ends of balance beam to tube and to surrounding casing and unit for exciting oscillations of balance beam and tube. Balance beam and/or tube have sections of high flexibility (cut-out in balance beam and made in form of bellows in tube) for concentration of function of spring of flow meter in distance plates. When agents at different densities flow through tube, oscillation unit moves within boundaries of distance plate. Motion of units causes change in relationship of function of effective spring of balance beam to function of effective spring of tube for maintenance of improved dynamic balance of flow meter without mass of casing. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurement in wide range of densities. 22 cl, 30 dwg
