FACILITY REMOVING MOISTURE FROM MASS OF PAVEMENT OF BRIDGE STRUCTURE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: bridge construction, removal of moisture from mass of bridge structure and from roadway of bridge structure. SUBSTANCE: facility includes drain tubes installed in plate of bridge structure with formation of drain recesses above each tube which are located in mass of lower layer of pavement lying directly on hydraulic insulation layer. Novelty of approach consists in that drain recesses form longitudinal drain conduit filled with drain mixture comprising crushed stone and binder with formation of porous structure. Drain tubes are positioned under drain conduits. EFFECT: removal of moisture from mass of pavement of bridge structure and as result prolonged service life of pavement. 6 cl, 4 dwg
