FIELD: construction and reconstruction of bridges. SUBSTANCE: salient feature of process lies in drilling of at least one through conduit and blind holes in head parts and body of existing supports relative to longitudinal axis of each existing support. Then hollow conduit formers which protruding parts have length corresponding to length of formed additional cantilever members are anchored in through conduits uniaxially with them on one or both sides of each support. Ends of bars of reinforcement are embedded in all blind holes. Bars of reinforcement are interjoined by additional bars of reinforcement to form single cage of additional cantilever members. Later anchoring unit is mounted on hollow conduit former and additional cantilever members are formed by encasing formed framework with hollow conduit formers in forms. After proper curing of concrete high-strength fixtures are entered into conduit formers through anchoring units. Then fixtures are tensioned with subsequent injection of hardening material into through conduits. EFFECT: reduced labor input and usage of materials, shortened working period without interruption of traffic during reconstruction with simultaneous provision for operational reliability of both structure of widened support and bridge structure as whole. 3 cl, 4 dwg
