FIELD: nuclear engineering; sources specially designed for medicine. SUBSTANCE: method for assembling ionizing radiation sources includes proportional fill of source capsule with radionuclides, sealing of capsule, and measurement of exposure dose rate of finished source. Number of portions is found from formula N = 100/C, where N is number of portions; C is planned deviation of measured exposure dose from its desired rated value, %. Device implementing proposed method has radionuclide bin 6, cart 3 with device 8 for lifting gate valve of bin 6 and for extracting radionuclide portion therefrom, device for conveying portion to casing of source 9, capsule charging unit 10, and collimator with ionization chamber 11. EFFECT: greatly reduced deviation of measured exposure dose rate from its desired rated value. 1 cl, 1 dwg
