FIELD: glassmaking industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes calculation and preparation of charge, loading charge and broken glass in furnace, boiling glass mass, performing proxymate analysis of oxide composition of raw material components and glass mass at preset periods and correction of starting composition of charge by results of deviation from required magnitude. Resulting action for correction is formed by means of furnace simulating model according to response of furnace to change in oxide composition of charge and broken glass taking into account averaged composition of raw material components and calculated averaged composition of broken glass, thus predicting new stable state of furnace . In case of expected deviation of glass mass within tolerance, smooth correction of charge composition is performed and in case of deviation beyond tolerable limits, use is made of correcting pulse formed by calculation of new composition of charge. Simulation of furnace is performed on basis of analysis of structure of production flow, direct and reverse flows of glass mass in zones of furnace and dynamics of change of glass mass composition in each zone of furnace taking into account layer position of flow, real productivity of furnace and ratio of charge and broken glass.
