FIELD: glass.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing coloured glass mass and can be used in production of glass containers and sheet glass by the float-method. Result is achieved by using 10-15 % of recycled glass scrap and 10-15 % of cullet, having a variable concentration of colouring components and formed at direct and reverse re-coloring of glass mass. To reduce approximately twice the duration of transient process, at the moment of re-coloring cycle start, the glass furnace having the efficiency 500-600 t of colourless glass mass per day is loaded with a charge with increased in three times concentration of colouring components and scrap glass with stable colour during the first day. Scrap glass with variable colour formed in the first five days after the beginning of re-coloring of glass mass, as well as in the latter five days of cycle at reverse re-coloring, are stored depending on concentration of colouring components in separate bins with capacity 500-600 t; further this glass scrap content in loaded charge is reduced by 2-12 % concentration of colouring components if a scrap glass with high content of dyes is used. If loaded scrap glass has low concentration of dyes, which was formed in the previous cycle of reverse re-coloring of glass mass into colourless one, the content of colouring components is increased by 1-13.5 %.
EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency of coloured in mass glass boiling in high-efficiency glass-melting furnaces due to periodic (period of 60-90 days) repainting of colourless glass mass in colour one, stable chemical composition of glass mass using portions of cullet with variable colour and complete utilisation of waste glass.
