FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy; washing blast furnaces. SUBSTANCE: method consists in periodic introduction of flushing compounds in charge to be loaded into furnace and tapping of iron and blast-furnace slag through tapping holes. Irregularity of tapping of slag through all tapping holes is determined by 30-40 taps and when irregularity reaches 10-50% , flushing additives are introduced in charge; additives contain iron, silicon and manganese and converter slag. Amount of slag containing Fe, Si and Mn is determined according to dependence M = K•ψ•P, where M is amount of slag containing Fe, Si and Mn, kg/t of iron; ψ is irregularity of all tapping holes, %; P is specific yield of blast-furnace slag in all tapping holes during 30-40 taps, kg/t of iron; K is empirical coefficient characterizing physico-chemical laws of slag-forming procedure in blast furnace which is equal to 0.0067- 0.0074, I/%. Amount of converter slag N is set to be equal to N = (0.51.05),M. Slag containing Fe, Si and Mn includes, mass-%: Mn=17- 19; CaO= 21-23; MgO= 7-8; SiO2 = 46-48; Al2O3 = 3,5-3,6; FeO= 1.7-1.8; S=0.20-0.24. EFFECT: increased capacity of furnace. 2 cl, 1 tbl, 1 ex
