FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves removing cartilage layer from the cutoff femur head and cotyloid cavity. Fragment cross-section diameter is to be greater than cotyloid cavity fundus defect diameter. The so built transplant is pressed against defect from the articulation recess side. Bed for endoprosthesis cup is created in the recess and the protruding part of the femur head using rounded mill which diameter is less than one of the cotyloid cavity. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness transplanted head adaptation in the cotyloid cavity; prevented femur head resolution.
