FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has heating unit 10 and the first temperature transducer 11 introducible into body tissue. Heating unit 10 is connected to power supply source 13 controlled by control unit 14 via treatment catheter 12 introducible into body cavity. The first temperature transducer 11 is interactively connected to the first storage unit 15 for saving cell survival data as cell temperature function. Input device 16 is interactively connected to control unit 14 to enable one to input data like desired volume/mass of body tissue under heating in the amount enough for this tissue cells to die. Control unit 14 is interactively connected to computation unit 17 for determining volume/mass of the body tissue the cells of which has been destroyed as temperature functions in the tissue remote to certain distance from heating unit 10. EFFECT: predictable results in applying heat treatment to tissue. 9 cl, 2 dwg
