SEPARATOR Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: chemical, petrochemical, gas and other industries applicable in separation of liquid and solid particles from flows of gases. SUBSTANCE: separator has cylindrical body with pipe unions for gas admission and discharge, and withdrawal of separated liquid; separating package; means for swirling of gas flow and withdrawal of separated liquid from separating package. The latter is made in form of cylindrical partition from longitudinally bent plates installed with lap joint and with gaps for gas intake and discharge. EFFECT: simplified design, as compared with known designs, reduced metal content and overall dimensions. 4 dwg
