SUBSTANCE: invention relates to substituted 3'-azido-3'-deoxythymidine 5'-H-phosphonate ammonium salts of the general formula (I) where RR'R''N represent L-alanine, ethanolamine, triethanolamine, 6-aminocaproic acid, pyridoxylamine or dimethylaminoethanol that are selective inhibitors of production of human immunodeficiency virus HIV-1 and HIV-2. Compounds show the improved capacity to crystallization and less hygroscopicity as compared with 3'-azido-3'- -deoxythymidine with alkaline and earth-alkaline metal salts.
