FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy, applicable in production of aluminum in electrolyzers with upper current leads to self-baking anodes. SUBSTANCE: current lead has steel cylindrical nonremovable pins. Lower part of pins equaling height of their rearrangement is made of high-temperature steels. Invention provides for electrolyzer operation without so - called secondary anode and reduction of power consumption due to reduced minimal distance from pins to anode foot.
