FIELD: input devices; computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: device that can be used for building local-network simple- hardware controllers designed to reliably maintain exchange of both fixed- and variable-length messages whose length is a multiple of that of parallel-serial binary code fragment has receiver-decoder, pause detector, shift register, operation result readiness output, clock input and self-synchronizing series of binary code inputs. Novelty is introduction of modulo two check-up element, two NOT gates, three flip-flops, buffer register, and control unit. Proposed device makes it possible to convert self-synchronizing series of binary codes and to produce fragments of parallel-serial binary code along with fragment-ready and functioning-check signals. EFFECT: simplified design and enlarged functional capabilities of device. 1 cl, 3 dwg
