FIELD: machining of materials. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has housing mounted on base and provided with mechanism for making riffles on surface of blank; said mechanism includes toothed shafts mounted in housing diametrically opposite and perpendicularly relative to axis of blank being treated; they are mounted in two tiers for transversal motion. Teeth of shafts of first tier are made for linear contact with blank and teeth of shaft of second tier are made for point contact. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and accuracy of machining. 2 dwg
