FIELD: inorganic compounds technology. SUBSTANCE: brine with 35 g/cu.cm iodine is oxidized to give elementary iodine and sorbed on low-basic synthetic anionite whose matrix is based on acrylonitrile/divinylbenzene copolymer and which has following functional groups: primary amino (30%), secondary amino (20%), and imidazoline-type tertiary aromatic amino (30%). Concentration of iodine in continuously produced desorbate is 294 g/l. EFFECT: reduced consumption of reagents, volume of equipment, labor and energy consumption, and reduced exhaustion of resin. 3 tbl
