FIELD: hyperbolic mass-spectrometers of high sensitivity and resolving power. SUBSTANCE: proposed method designed for raising resolving power by 7-8 times and used for analyzing charged particles by specific charges in hyperbolic mass-spectrometer includes introduction of charged particles in working space of analyzer, their sorting according to specific charges, and transfer of sorted-out particles from analyzer to metering device; prior to extracting sorted-out particles from analyzer and introducing them into metering device these particles are sorted out according amplitude of their oscillation in analyzer.
