FIELD: organic chemistry, medicine, oncology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel derivatives of indole of the formula (I): where R¹ means hydrogen, halogen atom, CN; R² and R³ are similar or different and mean hydrogen atom, C₁-C₄-alkyl, halogen atom; R⁴ means hydrogen atom, C₁-C₄-alkyl; means cyanophenyl group, aminosulfonylphenyl group, aminopyridyl group, aminopyrimidyl group, halogenpyridyl group or cyanothiophenyl group under condition that when all R¹, R², R³ mean hydrogen atom, when both R² and R³ represent hydrogen atom or when ring represents aminosulfonylphenyl group and both R¹ and R² represent halogen atoms are excluded; and, except for, when ring represents cyanophenyl group, 2-amino-5-pyridyl group or 2-halogen-5-pyridyl group and R¹ represents cyano-group or halogen group then at least one of R² and R³ must not be hydrogen atom. Compounds of the formula (I) elicit an antiangiogenic effect and can be used as antitumor agents being especially against malignant tumors of pancreas, colon intestine, stomach, breast gland, prostate, lung, ovaries and other organs.
