POWER SWITCH Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: electrical engineering; backing light switches for vehicles. SUBSTANCE: power switch has base with contact system and case with hold-down telescopic rod; base and case interiors are isolated by means of flexible sealed diaphragm. Contact system is assembled of fixed contacts and spring-loaded closing contact bridge mounted for withdrawal from fixed contacts when rod moves into case. Intermediate pusher spring-loaded towards rod is placed between rod and contact bridge; it is made of same material as diaphragm and is built integral with the latter. Sectional area of pusher in plane perpendicular to longitudinal axis of switch is greater than thickness of diaphragm. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of power switch. 5 cl, 2 dwg
