FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves using symmetric He-Gu points and paired symmetry points on human body in sinocarotid zone having projection over the carotid body and carotid sinus, respectively. Bioelectromagnetic response index is measured in sinocarotid zone points under study before and after physical factor action. Bioelectromagnetic response index difference Y,Y* for each pair of points is calculated before and after physical factor action. Asymmetry coefficients are calculated in sinocarotid zone points under study. Emotional stability coefficient is determined. Psychophysiological state index J of human organism is calculated. J values being greater than -20 and less than +30, psychophysiological state of human organism is determined as compensated. J values being less than -20 or greater than +30, psychophysiological state of human organism is determined as subcompensated. EFFECT: high reliability of diagnosis.
