FIELD: methods of spherical aluminum oxide production for its use as carriers of catalysts applicable in production of entero- and hemosorbents. SUBSTANCE: spherical aluminum oxide is produced by granulation of powdery aluminum oxide of Al2O3•nH2O composition where 0,25n<2,0, preliminarily subjected to mechanical treatment in disintegrator. Powdery aluminum oxide is moistened with nitric acid with concentration of 0.32-1.28 wt.%, then filled into reactor with mechanical mixer and containing hydrocarbon fluid and granulated with mixing at mixer rotation speed of 1000-3000 rpm for 3- 20 min; with the following amounts of components in reactor, wt.p.p.: aluminum hydroxide 10-50; nitric acid solution with concentration of 0.32-1.28% 4-20; hydrocarbon fluid 100. Formed granules are dried, treated with water steam and calcined. EFFECT: higher efficiency of method due to its compactness, simplicity and low cost. 1 tbl
